The detox diet drink -It is told that lemon water helps with weight loss, but how effective is it? Not the detox diet, but just drinking lemon water throughout the day can really help your body cleanse, how much weight could you possibly lose in a week? In a month? I was curious to know how effective it really was in losing weight, so I did my own research, watched some video’s , talk with others who have experience this detox diet drink and did my own cleanse
The Lemon Detox Diet program involves drinking a lemon and water drink created from cayenne pepper, maple syrup and... lemons. You will also flush your body with a sea salt,h2o (water) solution every single night you are on the cleanse. It is recommended that you get a laxative tea to help with the elimination of toxins as well. I talk about the sea salt flush near the end of this article
Lemon Detox Drink Ingredients
Mix all of the ingredients together in a glass and enjoy! Initially you may find the cayenne pepper a little hot, especially if you are not used to spicy food but this is something that you also become accustomed to very quickly.
Whenever you start to feel a bit hungry, go and mix yourself a drink. This tends to keep hunger pains at bay pretty quickly. Once you get past day 3, you’ll probably find that you will experience very few actual hunger pains although about 1 in 4 people do say that they have regular hunger pains throughout. But don’t worry, I have great confidence that you’ll be one of the lucky other 3!
You’ll need to drink a minimum of 6 detox deit drinks throughout the day. Somewhere between 8 - 12 is ideal. Make sure that you are also drinking plenty of fresh pure water throughout the day too, water is a key component with this cleanse. Water help to wash away the toxins that have built up in your system. The water is expelled through your urinary system or your sweat glands
The drink is best made fresh each time that you want to drink it but this sometimes isn’t possible, especially if you are heading off to work. To try and maintain the cleaning power of the lemon enzymes, make a concentrate of the maple syrup and the lemon juice and just add water when you want to drink it.
So if you were planning on drinking 3 drinks while you were out, you would need to make up a concentrate of 6 tablespoons of lemon juice and 6 tablespoons of maple syrup.
To make life easier on yourself, take 3 separate bottles of water each containing 8 fl Oz’s of pure water but with the capacity for 10 fl Oz’s as you will be adding your concentrate to it. You’ll need to pack a tablespoon for measuring and your cayenne to add at the end.
Once you’re ready for a drink, just get your concentrate out and give it a good shake, then measure 4 tablespoons into the bottle, add your cayenne, shake and drink!
During you cleanse try some light exercise as this will make you feel great and keep your mind off food. Don’t forget to keep drinking the detox diet drink and replenishing your water supplies each time you think of eating food.
If hunger creeps in just distract yourself. I decided to go on a light exercise program while I detoxed my body, of course it helps you get so much more energy than you would normally have.
Salt Water Flush Instructions
The sea salt water flush is also considered a detox diet drink to help you get rid of that bothersome belly fat as well.
First thing in the morning/before bed and even before any food or drink you should perform this sea salt water flush while on your detox diet.
The night before performing a saltwater flush, drink a cup or two of tea that has a laxative effect. This will help loosen everything up before the flush. Saltwater flushes should be done first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This should be scheduled for a day off of work, with no other plans. Staying home is advised, for your convenience. But, most of us have to work and it can also be done at night, night time flushing is an ideal time for people like me that have to go to work in the morning.
I would just take it around 8 or 9 PM to allow yourself to eliminate the early part of the evening so your sleep is not disturbed all night.
A saltwater flush works by moving through the body and breaking up fecal
matter, which is then carried out of the body with the water. The salt and
water don’t separate, and it has the same specific density as blood. The
kidneys, therefore, cannot collect the water, and the blood cannot collect the
salt. The liquid will move through the body uninterrupted and clean toxins from
the intestines as it moves through. Everyone experience with this detox diet drink is differnt, this article is just a guideline on what to expect
It’s easy to make the saltwater flush.
After performing a saltwater flush, your first bowel movement should be within two or three hours. Expect several more throughout the course of the day while your body rids itself of toxins. Some people may feel some discomfort or bloating before their first elimination. This is normal, as your body is working the saltwater through the intestine at this point. Stretches may help speed the process up by allowing the body to more easily break up any clumps in the digestive tract.
This detox diet drink flush can be carried out daily for up to a week straight. After cleansing the intestinal tract, yogurt should be eaten to help repopulate the healthy bacteria in the intestines. Saltwater flushes are not necessary, but can be useful to help with constipation. Although occasional saltwater flushes aren’t dangerous, the body’s natural waste removal system generally works fine on its own. this detox diet drink alternative helped me in many of my belly fat diet plans.
Please consult your doctor before perfoming any type of diets.
